yesterday was muy bueno ;)
i got my hair cut... it's shorter (duh...) but i like it.
then i had a driving lesson, and I WENT ON THE FREEWAY.
and then USC BEAT UCLA IN THE MOST AMAZING GAME EVER (66-19)
i can't even begin to describe it...
and today, i went to a baby shower for my dad's godson's wife.
and now i'm talking to jean... some important things to add:

UCLA lost yesterday to Arizona, in a grueling 52-14 game. HAH.
The Virginia Tech Hokies also suffered their first loss of the season, to Miami.
USC won against Stanford in an easy 51-21.
Other nice wins for Texas over Baylor, 62-0 (ouch)

i do hate AP world... two fricken LONG outlines she assigned us. plus she's going to be majorly pissed about the Virginia Tech game. but please, she's making us outline over 50 pages.
hopefully i'll get to drive today. it's been quite a while since i've driven.
my mom found these really cool salmon stickers in one of her food magazines. they're mine now. woo hoo!

Hellow there chickidees. What's new?
halloween was amazing. i'll have jess send me pics and i'll post some on my myspace.
so i ordered capris from land's end... and when they got here, they were ridiculously big. crazy big. so i called them, and they figured out i should be in a 12 KID'S size. since when am i back in kids' sizing?? ahh, well, those look much better.
on the school side... yay religion, boo ap world. french is way too funny... seriously, you need to go to this website. we spent the last 1/2 hour of class listening to all the little kids make animal noises.
yay for our new myspacers. you make me proud :D
mmkay.. football round-up:
USC beat WSU last week, in a very decisive game (by about oh, FORTY)
UCLA barely beat Stanford, in OVERTIME...
USC plays Stanford today at home,
UCLA plays...well, who cares. arizona, i think.
USC back on top of the BCS, with the only other significant changes being georgia falling 4th to 11th, michigan showing improvement. BCS game pairings come out in less than a month :D
if you're interested, virginia tech plays miami today, cal plays oregon...
Heisman voting - Maurice Drew leading, but i'm still holding out for reggie bush.

too close victory over ND last week. thank goodness for 7 seconds.
nice and comfy victory over washington this weekend. THAT is the way football should be played.
first "official" driving lesson w/ valley bob's today. kinda boring, but at least now my permit is legal. lol.
yucky presentations this week. making a penguin on photoshop for expo comp and talking about elite groups for ap world.
signed up for december retreat! yay me...
haha watch me pack enough for a week. ahhh i'm excited :)
not much else. it is getting dark REALLY early.

okay, so last night was cooool.
we got ready at jessica's then took a white stretch navigator to duke's in malibu. they had a caricature person and a tarot reading, so i got both done. and it was so weird, cuz i never really believed in this psychic stuff, but when i got my cards read, it was like "omg... that makes SO much sense in my life" and that was cool.
then we rode around in the limo stopping to take pictures at random places on the west side until 1 am. ice cream cake and presents. didn't go to sleep til 4 am.
good stuff.
AND USC WON 42-21, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. all though it was a bit iffy up until the 4th quarter, they OBVIOUSLY know how to end a game.
NOTRE DAME'S GOING DOWN SATURDAY. that's all there is to it.

50-13!!! ahhhh wasn't the game FUN last night?? have you EVER seen me more hyper??? omg i'm sure the people around me wanted to shoot me cuz i talked non-stop thoughout the 3rd quarter. muahahaha... i guess we were playing "how many people can we cram into this row?" because samantha was like REALLY close to steve. i was laughing. i was laughin at EVERYTHING (including that el co guy that THOUGHT he made a touchdown...lmao).

my dad took me out and i drove today!!!! it was soooo cool. there's this street behind my house that big but pretty empty, and i did right turns, left turns, u-turns, lane changing, and i even got to drive home and park on the street.

haha so the second half of my trip was a little more interesting but i won't elaborate any more than that...
got back saturday night and i've just been hanging out since. summer reading (still not done...) and such.
so, today's orientation. i thought, "gosh, i haven't seen these people forever. damn straight i'm going to dress well." then... "okay, maybe not. those uniforms. bothersome things." and i'm wearing mine now. it's hideous. this is really mean and i'm sure revealing of my character in some way, but i hope that y'all look just as bad as i do. cuz then i won't feel as bad.
oh, and everyone gets to see my ridiculous tan lines and peeling-ness.
but i have new jewelry!
um... i can't think of anything else. seeing dukes of hazzard today w/ jessica. doc's appointment before that. yeah, so MISS YOU EVERYONE!!

hello from maui! making a little travel log here.
we're here with the rudermans and it's the 10th anniversary of the first time we came (but it's only our 8th trip... skipped a few years). jessica and i planned to make friends this trip ;)
we arrived on friday, swam a little then had dinner. lost a 2-week contact.
friend count: griffin (her brother): 0, jessica and me: 0.
saturday: more swimming (hotel has great pools and water slides) and beach. jessica and i stalk a guy (funny how interested we became in sunglasses...) at the shops at wailea, only to go to the general store to find that griffin has made a friend (eric). a friend with a 16-year-old brother.
friend count: griffin: 1, j and me: 0.
sunday: pools, beach. griffin has made two new friends on the beach (mikey, campbell). this is getting ridiculous. lost contacts in ocean (luckily these were my dailies, so i have lots of pairs)
friend count: griffin: 3, j and me: 0... still.
monday: eric-from-general-store and his brother matt came to the hotel/beach. ha! friends! lost both contacts again. whoops. couldn't see anything, especially our dear sauna friends (the guy from italy, some other guys i couldn't see, some little kid, three guys from LA, etc). then omg jessica and i were waiting for eric, griffin, and matt to perfect their rope swing backflips when the three guys from the la (see "sauna friends") asked us if we "wanted to chill". seriously. thta's never happened to me. and then after dinner we were all on these lounge chairs right off the beach, and jessica and i were approached by some guy from indiana. we were pretty sure he was on a dare. and then he and his friend came back to say hi, then left. then two local boys came up (alex, 17 and nick, 16). me, thinking all the time, WTF IS HAPPENING???

WILL YOU COME TO MAUI AND PROTECT ME FROM THE SCARY PEOPLE?????
